Welcome to the Municipality of Nes!
The municipality delivers welfare services to the inhabitants, such as health services, elderly care, nursery schools and basic education of the population.
Nature has been generous in giving us many idyllic places, making Nes a good place to live as well as an area where there is plenty to do. On warm summer days the jetties and landing stages by the rivers Glomma and Vorma remind us of the idyllic places along Norway's south coast, whilst winter tempts us to try the ice-rink or the numerous skitracks through large uninhabited areas.
